United-Kingdom:

The United-Kingdom has a population of nearly 60 million inhabitants.

It is composed of four nations: England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ureland (or Ulster).

The most populated nation is England with approximately 50 million inhabitants.

Each nation has its own parliament and capital.

Some nations have other languages than English:
Scotland: Scottish
Wales: Welsh
Ulster: Irish/Gaelic

The inhabitants are all British citizens.

The British flag is the Union Jack.

The national currency is the Pound Sterling £.



The Republic of Ireland (Eire):

Eire has a population of nearly 5 million inhabitants.

Irish or Gaelic, is also spoken by some people.

Eire is independant from the United-Kingdom.

Connemara is a very famous Irish region.
